Project Engineer – Package Engineering

Bonfire recruitment is retained with a global multi-disciplined engineering organisation in the recruitment of a Project Execution Delivery and Project Execution Detailing Engineer. This hands on, dynamic project engineering opportunity will focus on multiple high value projects from one of their UK sites in Derbyshire, UK.

This Package Engineering role will involve analysing vendor package details and combine this into their design responsibility. You will coordinate other disciplines to achieve the result of interfacing packages and combine this into their design responsibility.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Manage and deliver the project deliverable packages.
  • Mange and lead the project support functions (services, discipline engineers, external contractors, etc)
  • Ensure the project schedule is consistently met to timescales and within budget
  • Accountable for all package specification, procurement, and integration into the plant and for checking and approving all detail engineering inputs from discipline engineers and design team members.

This is a truly exciting opportunity ideally suited to a qualified engineer who has 3-8 years post college / university industrial working experience working on land based complex engineering projects within Chemicals, Process, Minerals, Aggregates , Oil& Gas , Utility industries and one who is looking to become part of an exciting growing engineering business for the long term – this is quite an opportunity!

Previous experience of working with complex international projects would be advantageous but not essential.
