Manufacturing Project Engineer – Maintenance, Reliability, Electrical Controls

Bonfire Recruitment have an opportunity for a permanent Manufacturing Project Engineer with an electrical maintenance background for a maintenance and reliability focussed role for its growing manufacturing client in central Scotland near Grangemouth, UK. This unique role will allow a qualified electrical engineer to grow into the global engineering function with appropriate managerial development and autonomy.

Reporting into the group engineering function the purpose of this role is create and run reliability and CAPEX projects whilst ensuring the maintenance of all process systems, static electrical and mechanical plant are to the highest level of operational integrity, both in terms of reliability and safety to allow production optimisation.

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified electrical engineer from a manufacturing, utilities or process environment to develop into the site and the UK engineering function

In addition, the preferred candidate should meet at least 2 of the following criteria to be considered for this highly sought after role:

  • Degree Qualified in a technical / engineering discipline
  • City & Guilds / HNC / completed apprenticeship in Electrical engineering or degree qualified in Electrical Engineering
  • 17th Edition Certified
  • SCADA knowledge / PLC System fault finding experience
  • CMMS Working knowledge
  • Pneumatic and mechanical maintenance experience
  • Manufacturing projects experience
